Key here is to know the market. Redmond seems to think this will work in other markets, so they should definitely go for it. I hope they don’t try these prices and products in America right now, because I don’t think that would work at all.
Which hardware vendors will be be expected to product these? Is it all of them, or does Redmond have particular vendors in mind to hit these price points?
Just like Android tablets, you won’t hear the brand name of those cheap windows tablets before.
