Woot! We now know when the next BUILD event will take place. Microsoft has revealed the dates of the upcoming BUILD 2021 developer conference, though an official announcement is yet to be available.
However, the company has published the official dates on its website, confirming that this year’s event would take place from May 25-27.
And though the software titan has not confirmed whether this will be a live event or a digital one, chances are that the whole thing would only take place online for obvious reasons. That being the ongoing worldwide coronavirus pandemic.
In addition, the company is yet to provide details on the sessions, with the official BUILD site still pointing to the 2020 sessions that are available to be watched online.
Expect that to change, in due time.
BUILD is after all, one of the most impactful events for Microsoft.
It is typically the gathering where the company gets in touch with developers from all over the world. But at the same time, it is also the moment where it provides the technology world with an early look at some of its highly anticipated updates.
Or, rather, what the company is cooking.
Microsoft typically uses BUILD to showcase improvements coming to its operating platforms, often previewing the next feature update that it plans to release. Also in spotlight are the software features and tools that are available for developers to code for the OS.
Let’s see what this year brings.
