  • Awesome! It seems that not only is Microsoft totally revamping their approach to software and hardware, but also revamping their approach to marketing. Makes them look young, vibrant and strong enough to put the competition back in it’s place 😉

  • What does it all mean? That I’ll dance and prance and smooch on campus if I buy a Surface? I don’t want to imitate American Idol competitors. I want to know what I can do with a Surface should I decide to fork over the cash to buy one. Why must advertising be so superficial? What’s in a name? Surface and superficial are semantically close, but dancing and prancing with an expensive tablet is dangerous and might be expensive.

  • hmm. i wanted to like it but it’s a little outdated with the whole percussion thing. Aside from the haircut of the main guy it could’ve come out of the 90s

  • Loving this ad! Very fun and cool especially the crumping. I am really loving this because it depicts the effect the surface will have on its users. Hopefully that is. I must say, its the first I been stoked about any hardware since MacBook pro.

  • This a commercial that Fred Astaire would have mad. It is pathetic and means nothing except as an advert for the netbooks or whatever they are. It is the biggest mistake that microsoft has ever made. In the UK and the rest of Europe, this advert will turn more people off than dog poo on you shoe. Why can’t I, in the UK buy 8?? Everytime I put my post code in it tells me I am not in the right postal area. I am being discriminated against.
I get enough of that being in my wheelchair and being 67 computer geeks think I know nothing.
I run a Registered Charity 1108688 in the UK and there are parts of 8 that would make our work much easier. It seems microsoft wants to make more money out of all the people in Europe. Get off your horse and drink your milk microsoft.
