Venue NYC. Microsoft today sent out a ‘Save the date’ email to journalists for an upcoming hardware event in New York City. The gathering is set for October 2.
Of course, keener eyes among you may already be aware that this is usually the time of the year when the company talks about new Surface products. Often times, a new version of Windows 10 also gets released around this time.
Anyway, this is the invitation card:
Sleek!
Although the company has not provided any further details, but the Redmond based technology titan should definitely should have quite a bit in store for this gathering.
For one thing, we are likely to see the rumored Surface Pro 7, which is expected to arrive with both Intel variants as well as Qualcomm 8cx processor models, which will also double up as the cellular version for those that seek connectivity on the go.
In addition to this, there is talk that Microsoft will also debut native ARM64 support for its new Edge browser at this event.
And keeping in view the fact that the Surface Book 2 is nearly two years old now, a Surface Book 3 is also likely to make an appearance. One can hope we may also see or hear something about the rumored Centaurus dual-screen device running Windows Lite.
Of course, all these are mere speculations, with nothing being confirmed by the company in any official capacity. But we’ll find out soon enough.
