The BUILD developer conference is always a special occasion, but the 2013 version of the event attained even more importance because of Windows 8.1 (codename Windows Blue).

This year’s conference is set for June 26 to June 28.

But all tickets for the event were sold out almost instantly in early April — fueled in part due to the rumors of a Windows Blue unveil during the conference.

They were rumors at that time, but since then Microsoft has confirmed that a preview version of Windows Blue would indeed be made available at BUILD. And interest in the event duly skyrocketed, even though no more tickets were left.

Nevertheless, Microsoft has jumped in to rescue saying that it would make additional tickets available on Wednesday at 9 AM Pacific Time, giving an opportunity to those that still want to be present at the moment when Windows Blue goes live to have another chance to grab a ticket.

If you are planning to attend the event, then make sure to keep an eye out on this page.

More tickets will be available here tomorrow, so act fast as soon as they become available. These are going to fly fast and most likely sell out in just a few minutes — even quicker than the first time around.
