But some new information about this upcoming flagship Windows Phone 8.1 device is now available, and this is the same technology that Tom Warren of The Verge talked about last year. However, how this new technology functions is still under wraps. A fall launch could mean that Microsoft might show this new handset off at IFA 2014, which is set to take place in early September. The Nokia World event, which is traditionally held in October, is also a real possibility for an announcement like this. And we could be treated to some more information via leaks and press renders before that. But the good news is that Nokia McLaren is expected to be picked up by all major wireless carriers in the United States, including AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile. November is the best time of the year to drop a new technological piece of hardware. I don’t know exactly what 3-d touch means, but it seems like an impressive feat. I’m hoping for the best.
