released an application for Windows Phone, iOS and Android earlier this month. Going by the name of Xim, the app is basically a photo sharing software that allows users to share their photos and images with friends, even if they don’t have the Xim app installed — only one user is required to have the application on the device. Images can be selected from the camera roll, Facebook, Instagram, Dropbox, OneDrive, and the shared photos disappear after a while, but that’s only the tip of the iceberg here. People on all makes and models of smartphones (at least the popular ones) can view the images, as they are opened in browsers. Everyone involved in the conversation can swipe and zoom together, meaning all users stay in sync with what’s going on. A novel concept, sure. And now everyone can download Microsoft Xim for Windows Phone, version 1.2.1, for free via the Windows Phone Store. Previously, the app was only limited to US users. It is fully compatible with all devices Windows Phone 8 and up.]]>
