Microsoft's Hindsbo Talks Up Windows 8 Apps and the App Store

400 million licenses Microsoft said it had sold just last July. Hmmm, I wonder if “licenses” translate into desktop use?  Not really, but that’s a subject for another day. Hindsbo’s main drift is that the app is the core of Windows 8 and there is tremendous opportunity for developers in this space.  The Windows Store now offers a reported 150,000 apps.  Enjoy the interesting presentation.
