When it comes to apps, Windows Phone owners are in a comparatively better state than Windows 8 users, which is unsurprising considering the mobile OS has been available for a longer period of time.
But still, the Windows Phone Store could do with as many official apps as it can get.
A number of high profile apps are said to be in development for the platform, and one of them is the official Mint.com application that is actually quite eagerly anticipated. The app has been in development for quite a while now.
And the latest reports on the matters are suggesting that fans of Windows Phone smartphones can expect the official Mint.com application to be available either in December 2013 or January 2014.
As WMPowerUser notes that the application was promised around a year ago.
The developers confirmed a few months back that the app will be landing on the Windows Phone platform in time for the holiday season. But now it appears that there may have been some setbacks, which has added to the development time.
Either way, as long as it makes this new date.
Mint.com is a free and popular web-based personal financial management service that is available for users in the United States and Canada. It offers account aggregation through Intuit.
The service allows users to track bank, credit card, investment, and loan transactions from a single interface. Official Mint.com clients are available on a number of platforms, and the availability of a Windows Phone app will enable users to user the service from the comfort of their mobile phones.
