Lenovo had a busy day at IFA 2017 today, announcing not only its Explorer mixed reality headset, but also an updated range of Windows 2-in-1s, in the Miix and Yoga lines.
These devices are tracking for an October launch, and will bring massive hardware upgrades like the latest Intel quad-core processors, improved battery life, and more. There is the Yoga 920, the Yoga 720, and finally the Miix 520.
Let’s start with the Yoga 920, first.
This is the flagship 2-in-1 from Lenovo that the company will launch in silver and bronze, and the device features a near edgeless display, an all-metal unibody design, along with a stylish 360° watchband hinge. You also get instant fingerprint login with Windows Hello, and Constant Connect Mode.
Main specifications include an 8th generation Intel Core i7 chip, either a 13.9-inch 4K or Full HD IPS touchscreen, integrated graphics, 8GB or 16GB memory, and either a 256GB, 512GB or 1TB SSD.
It launches October 13, for $1,329 and up.
The Yoga 920 is also being offered with limited edition Gorilla Glass Star Wars covers, in Rebel Alliance and Galactic Empire flavors, if you’re into the whole saving the galaxy thing.
Bringing things down a notch, is the Yoga 720.
The company bills this as the most portable and compact Yoga device yet. It comes in silver, grey and black, and features a 12.5-inch Full HD display, with the choice of Intel Core i3, i5 or i7 processors with integrated graphics, 4GB or 8GB memory, and 128GB, 256GB or 512GB SSD.
October availability, with prices starting at $649.
And finally, we get to the Miix 520.
This detachable comes with support for the newest quad-core 8th generation Intel Core processors, far-field microphones for Cortana, and WorldView camera for 3D imaging. It’s 12.2-inch Full HD screen actually sports the 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution.
8GB and 256GB are the standard RAM and SSD configurations.
And it will also be available in October, starting at $999.
