The Lumia 1520 is the first ever phablet from Nokia, and the Finnish company is reportedly gearing up to launch the device alongside the Lumia 2520, its first ever Windows tablet.

Over the past couple of months, we have been treated to many such leaked images that show the device in action, and now a new set of images are available that show not only the handset itself, but also some of the cases that will be available for it.

These new photos have been posted on a Twitter account, and show the device in Red.

Based on previously leaked information, you will be able to pick up the smartphone in Black, Yellow and White colors, along with the above pictured Red.

No new details accompany these leaked photos — though we already have a pretty good idea on what this smartphone should pack, based on online benchmarks and previously reported details.

And needless to say, it will be an absolute monster when it comes to hardware.

A large 6-inch display with a full HD 1080p resolution is expected to be paired with a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and 2GB of RAM. A 20.7 megapixel camera will sit at the back, along with one on the front for making video calls.

The phablet will be powered by Windows Phone 8 Update 3, which Microsoft made official earlier today. Expect more on this handset leading up to the October 22 Nokia World launch.
