Microsoft is here with a new commercial for its upcoming Xbox Series X video game console, and the video focuses on the “Optimized for Xbox Series X” badge that will accompany some titles.
The company has been relentless in showcasing the power of its new hardware, and this ad is one such example of how it wants to remind gamers of the remarkable processing prowess of its next-generation console.
Let’s watch the video first:
Microsoft also emphasizes capability of its new console to hit it at 120fps (frames per second), with DiRT 5 being one such game that will support this framerate. Frame rate comes into special focus on racing games, and the power of the Xbox Series X is put to full use here.
As the company notes, not all new video games will earn this badge. Only titles that are optimized to take full advantage of the Xbox Series X hardware and aim for 4K resolution and at least 60fps will qualify.
The list of confirmed Optimized for Xbox Series X titles as of now has also been released:
- Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
- Bright Memory Infinite
- Call of the Sea
- Chivalry 2
- Chorus
- Cyberpunk 2077
- Destiny 2
- DiRT 5
- FIFA 21
- Gears 5
- Halo Infinite
- Hitman 3
- Madden NFL 21
- Marvel’s Avengers
- Outriders
- Scarlet Nexus
- Scorn
- Second Extinction
- The Ascent

This list will, of course, grow as more Xbox One titles are upgraded for the new console, and additional game designed exclusively for it are launched.
Charming stuff.
