Well, this certainly dampens the proceedings. Windows 10 on ARM PCs are now a reality, with Microsoft calling them Always Connected PCs. However, these devices don’t come with a couple of technologies.

We got details of these new launches from partners like HP, Lenovo, and ASUS, but one thing missing from the list was support for newer charging technologies — like fast charging and wireless charging, which are now a norm on smartphones.
Bummer.
Qualcomm has apparently removed Quick Charge 4 support from the chips that power this hardware, as the company is believed to have specifically optimized these processors for use in desktop computers, instead of mobile devices.
NFC is also nowhere to be seen in the official documentation, but Qualcomm has assured that NFC support is available on these devices.
The rest of the specifications are, more or less, the same with their mobile counterparts. Like the X16 cellular solution that can reach 1Gbps download speed, Kyro 280 CPU that tops out at 2.45 GHz, as well as the Adreno 540 GPU.
But the important thing is that this chipset has been optimized for long battery life, with Microsoft claiming that the Snapdragon 835 running Windows 10 can achieve one week per charge in standby.
When in active use, these laptops can go up to around 20 hours per charge, depending on usage.
Still impressive.
