announced this new subscription plan on the official blog:
“We recognize that there are households of all shapes and sizes and we’re committed to delivering the right Office for everyone – whether that be one person or an entire household.”This new plan launches this spring, by the way. By the same brushstroke, Redmond has also changed the name of Office 365 Home Premium to a much more simple, Office 365 Home. The service currently has more than 3.5 million subscribers, and some of these will probably transition to Office 365 Personal when it launches. Microsoft has promised more details on the Personal plan closer to when it goes live, but users of both the Home and Personal plans will now get an additional 20GB of storage space to go with 60 minutes of paid Skype calls every month.]]>

I’m pretty sure it’s just apps, so that everything is cloud based. That way it can be shared over networks.
Microsoft never gets enough credit for Office in my opinion. Nowadays, the younger crowd talks about Apple and how great it is, but Microsoft Office is almost universally used. Word, powerpoint, and outlook are all great programs. Lastly, Excel is one of the best, simplest, and also complex computer programs every made. It’s just fantastic!
