“We’re continuing to work out the details on how we plan to implement the recent ruling by the European Court of Justice and expect to launch a form soon for EU residents to submit requests.”
Google has already introduced such an option, and it was overwhelmed with thousands of such requests soon after the debut of this feature. Redmond, it appears, needs a little more time correctly implement the “Right to be “Forgotten” option. Last we heard on the matter was the Microsoft had started development of such a feature. The EU, on the other hand, has promised to work closely with online service providers to ensure the speedy adoption of this data protection reform.]]>

  • Right move no matter how or why it’s happening. The only thing that concerns me from Microsoft’s perspective is that they were late to the party again. Not going to help them catch Google.
