Alright, so what about Windows 8’s touch UI version of Skype? We already heard it was coming on the 26th, which is why I said today and tomorrow is a big day for Skype. The truth is this is only partly true… Claims are pouring in across the net that some users are now finding live links for downloading Skype for the new UI via Windows Store. I stopped by there myself and found I was apparently out of luck– but many regions like the UK have reported success. If you are running Windows 8 now, it might not be a bad idea to head to the store and see if you have access. If you don’t, the good news is that you will tomorrow.
