A game long forgotten is forgotten no more. Sunset Overdrive, an exclusive title for Xbox One that launched all the way back in 2014, is coming to Windows 10.
To meet public demand.
This was one of the few games that received positive reviews for the Xbox One console, with praise reserved for its visuals, traversal and combat systems, as well as humor. But while some of that success carried to sales, the game kind of came and went.
In recent times, however, fans wanted back in, either as a 4K remaster or PC release.
Well, good thing then that the developer is back on the hotseat. And the game is apparently no longer an exclusive anymore and more players can give it a try and see what it is all about.
This Windows 10 launch trailer seals the deal:
Talk about a second life!
It looks like Sunset Overdrive will be getting both a Windows 10 and Steam release, meaning it will not exclusively be available on the Microsoft Store — which is always a good thing as this allows titles a much bigger reach.
Previous leaks have hinted that the PC version of this former Xbox One exclusive will contain The Mystery of Mooil Rig, Dawn of The Rise of The Fallen Machines and Weapons Pack DLC, while THQ Nordic will handle distribution duties.
No word yet on whether the game will be an Xbox Play Anywhere titles.
But that should all be revealed tomorrow, November 16, when Sunset Overdrive lands on to PCs.
