Surface Pro 3 Goes Global, Now Available In 28 Markets

promised this expanded retail availability earlier this month. August 28 was set as the day, and the day is here. Microsoft have joined forces with retailers and resellers across the globe to bring the slate closer to buyers. And the best bit? All Surface Pro 3 models are available in all markets this time around. Fancy a Core i3, the Core i5 or even the Core i7? Just pick and pay. Microsoft announced the good news in a statement, confirming that the tablets will hit the store shelves toady, and those who preordered them, will also be getting their chosen models:

“The next 24 hours are huge for Microsoft and Surface fans everywhere. Starting just minutes from now in New Zealand, retailers and resellers in 25 additional geographies will begin selling Intel Core i3, i5 and i7 versions of Surface Pro 3 to the general public – bringing the total to 28 markets, including Canada, Japan and the United States.”
The full list of markets? Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Luxembourg, Malaysia, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, the United Kingdom and the United States. Redmond also confirmed that buyers can preorder the Surface Pro 3 docking station from any of these above listed locations, and shipments will begin on September 12. Good times.]]>

  • I heard the i3 version isn’t slated for release in Japan. How true? Not that I mind though, already got mine from the states.
