The Windows Azure Pack, announced earlier this year, is a collection of Azure technologies for enterprise and service provider data centers. Microsoft has now selected five companies to beta test the technology.
Among these is Ipeer, a leading cloud provider based in Sweden, which will utilize the new APS package for Parallels Automation, with plans to launch its Azure solution by the middle of January in 2014.
CEO of Ipeer Johan Hedlund said on the occasion:

The newly developed Azure Pack is based on the recently refreshed Windows Server 2012 R2 and System Center 2012 R2. Designed to meet the scale and performance requirement of customers, it draws on Windows Azure public cloud code for many of its services.
By combining Windows Azure pack and offering it with Parallels technology, Ipeer can now provide its hosted data center customers with an IaaS (infrastructure-as-a-service) solution.
