Alongside announcing two new EliteBook PCs, HP also made official the EliteOne 1000 G1 AIO, which is designed as an all-in-one for business users, and comes with a selection of unique solutions.
The company has placed this AIO PC under its business brand.
For starters, it comes with support for the far-field voice technology that can be used in Cortana, and the digital assistant can even talk back to you through the Bang & Olufsen speakers. But that’s just the start when it comes to business centric features that this impressive new AIO offers.
You also get Elite series staples like SureStart, that checks the BIOS against a master copy, and replaces it in the event of a corruption.
There is also the HP WorkWise service, which is basically a companion app that can tell you if your PC has been tampered with while you were away, among other things. And then there is also a new feature that HP calls PhoneWise that also works just as you would expect it to.
It is a Windows based solution that allows users to take phone calls and respond to text messages right from their PCs. It only works with Android and iOS, though, meaning the HP Elite x3 Windows Phone users are left out in the cold for this one.
The EliteOne 1000 G1 is set to become available in 23.8 and 27-inch variants later this month, with prices starting at $1,259 and $1,499 respectively.
A 34-inch curved model is on track for arrival in November, the price of which will be announced later.
