more, thank heavens! This had been the prevalent rumor, and some leaked images even showed this name, but it appears that the previous name was either just a smokescreen, a codename, or the company made some last minute changes. No matter, what’s in a name, the say? There is a handful in terms of feature set, though. Just like the Lumia Cyan, Black and Amber names before it, Lumia Denim brings a slew of new and exclusive features to Nokia smartphones, including stuff like folders and more, as part of Windows Phone 8.1 GDR1. Microsoft is just about to unveil the full feature set in a press event at IFA 2014 in Berlin, and there is every chance that upcoming devices like the Lumia 730 and 735 will launch with this firmware installed. It will also be made available to some of the more powerful (and popular) handsets like the Lumia 930, 1520, Icon. However, there is talk that older Lumia devices will have to wait until the fourth quarter of the year for this new version to be rolled out. People are still waiting for Windows Phone 8.1 in some parts of the globe.]]>
