How to Launch It

  • Invoke the Start Screen by hitting Windows Key.
  • Search for the “Messaging” app tile. Clicking it will launch the app.
OR
  • As an alternative, type “Messaging” on the Start Screen. The app will come up in the search result list. Clicking it will launch the app.
Following the design principles of Windows 8 apps, Messaging works in conjunction with the People app. In fact, it gels so well with People app that you don’t need to add an account to Messaging app if you have already added it to People app. Further, Messaging app fetches contacts from People app in order to start a conversation.]]>
