Zoho Cliq
Zoho Cliq is the new name of Zoho Chat rebranded in September 2017. The app has been given extra features to meet the needs of today’s business and office users. Whereas the previous software was limited to conventional chat and sharing, Zoho Cliq now incorporates a must-have for modern teams – voice and video functionality for more cohesive communication and deeper collaboration.
Zoho Cliq allows you to have direct chat and messaging with another user, or with several users/members in a chat room or channel. Now you can have as many channels as you want simultaneously, all viewable from a single window.
The ability to share files is still there, but the biggest addition is that now you can make audio or video calls right from within the channel. Deployment has been expanded from not only being a web app but also as a desktop app for Mac, Windows and Ubuntu. Mobile apps are also available for Android and iOS.
