starting today, users can tweet animated GIFs on Twitter websites, as well as the Android and iOS mobile apps. Interesting move, but sadly, Windows Phone users have once again been skipped from the rollout of an important feature. And there is no indication when this features arrives on the platform. This, obviously, is not the first time this has happened. Many developers still prefer to launch their apps on iOS and Android first, and Windows Phone flies into the picture only after a while. One would have expected better from a developer of the caliber of Twitter, though. Or maybe not. The official Windows Phone Twitter app has not been updated since November, while several significant updates have been added to the Android an iOS applications in the meantime.]]>

Great news! Stinks that we have to wait for the WP to get this feature, but sharing Gifs will be available soon enough..
As I just mentioned on the ios and android article, this is the disadvantage Windows Phone now faces. Twitter gets an awesome new feature, but Windows Phone has to wait before it can get it. A huge competitive advantage for android and ios.
All this stuff of app makers not updating Windows and Windows Phone apps with the same features other platforms are updated do is BS and just laziness
