The launch of Windows 10 version 2004, also known as the May 2020 Update, seems imminent. And that’s because Microsoft has published a couple of official pages for this new version.
Namely, the release information and resolved issues pages.
Of the two, the release information page is the more important one, as it indicates whether there are any known issues in this feature update of the operating system. Good thing is that it lists none right now, though this probably temporary.
While the resolved issues page records the known issues that Redmond has fixed. This page is also updated by the company at regular intervals. But as of this writing, it’s empty, which can be seen as a good sign.
Microsoft is expected to roll out the Windows 10 May 2020 Update soon.
Earlier this month, the software titan updated its Driver Shiproom Schedule to reserve the dates of May 26, 27 and 28 for feature updates. This is to ensure that OEMs don’t release driver updates a day before or after feature updates and Patch Tuesday updates to avoid any possible conflicts.
Before that the company also rolled out the official ISO files for Windows 10 version 2004 on MSDN.
Moral of the story?
The board is set, and the pieces are moving.
