The Your Phone app has finally been rolled out, allowing you to sync your Android phone and your Windows 10 PC.
The Your Phone app will also let you receive notifications, WhatsApp, SMS, make and receive calls, Â and much more, all on your desktop, saving you having to find your phone while on your PC. The only caveat is, your Android phone and Windows 10 PC must be connected.
The app lets you check out everything on your Android phone, providing you the convenience of just using one device. Until now, only Insiders had access to this feature and now we’ve all got it.  You must be on Windows 10 2018 or higher and your Android should be on Android 7.0 Nougat, or higher. If your Windows 10 PC is up to date, the Your Phone app is already there.
How to Use Your Phone
PC
- On your PC, run a search for Your Phone and launch the app.
- Use your Microsoft details to log in
- Add your mobile phone number and a text message will be sent to it.
Android
- Open the text message and click the Download link to get the companion app
- Install it and open it
- Follow the on-screen directions to set it up, using your Microsoft account
As an aside, don’t forget that support for Windows 10 Mobile has now ended. The recent December update is the last one and there will no longer be any security or other updates, nor will there be any online technical content for Windows 10 mobile devices.
