Ah, anime. Japanese animation has fans scattered from around the world, and if you are one, then the AnimeHub app brings you access to more than 1700 anime shows.

Including episodes of popular ones like One Piece, Bleach, Kill La Kill and Sword Art Online.

This free application is essentially a video player that streams and plays these videos, all of which are in at least 720p resolution or higher. Support for English subtitles is also included. Same goes for dubs, as in dubbed versions of these episodes.

Here’s the one line official description:

“An KissAnime.com client, watch over 1700 high quality anime online from 1080p to 720p with English sub or English dub.”

Pretty straightforward, right?

All available episodes are listed to the right when you select a show or start playing a video. You can also turn the video full screen and favorite a show to keep track of it or watch later. AnimeHub also includes an anime browser, plus search functionality to find specific shows easily.

Overall, while this may not be an official solution or service, it still is a great way to catch up with popular anime shows on your Windows 8.1 device. Supports x86, x64 and ARM versions.
