Another blast from the past. Some of you may recall the classic Marble Madness. Well, Orb Trials plays quite like that game, with your objective being to control and guide an orb to the next level.

Hence the name, right?

It’s a pretty simple concept, but the game throws in a decent amount of challenge, particularly when you try and get that third star on tougher levels. Addictive fun. Of course, you lose when you fall off the map, but that’s nothing that a simple restart can’t fix.

Here’s the official description:

“Orb Trials Pro is a unique and beautiful physics based puzzle and platformer. Navigate your orb while dodging lasers, pushing helper cubes, carrying helper spheres, opening doors, extending bridges, creating stairs, and using gravity to get to the level exit! Featuring 60 levels, Orb Trials Pro offers an ever increasing challenge for all players!”

Orb Trials Pro?

This free puzzle game also introduces several new mechanics to the classic formula — from switches and elevators to extending bridges in later levels to keep up the complexity and difficulty levels. Plenty of fun to be had for those that like a challenge.

The game can be played with either a keyboard or using touch based input. It supports all modern versions of Windows, x86, x64 and ARM and is well worth a download.
