There may be countless games on the Windows Store, but nearly not as many music ones. Rhythmic Village aims to fix this little conundrum with a richly designed solution.

Percussion instruments are the highlight of this simple, yet addictive game.

Which itself is made up of two parts — a puzzle side where you move tiles around to create notes, and then there’s the rhythm section where you use percussion instruments to replay notes that show up on screen. Pretty neat.

Here’s the official description:

“Feel the rhythm in you! Have you ever tried to play drums but found out that reading sheet music wasn’t your thing? Now that’s over!

In Rhythmic Village you’ll discover the crazy and happy folks named “Rhythmiacs”. They literally got the beat in their blood! In this adventure you’ll learn how to play percussion instruments and improve your sense of rhythm. Use your device and start right away!”

As mentioned above, the game is simple enough, making it accessible for all ages.

There is challenge in the sense that each level introduces additional notes, which add to the complication. Besides, the instruments used can be changed, and the difficulty level can always be upped as needed. Visuals are nice, and the free game supports x86, x64 and ARM versions of Windows.
