Some would say that Disney was the most logical home for the Star Wars universe. The entertainment titan very recently bought out the popular property, and one of the first games to come out of the acquisition is Star Wars: Tiny Death Star.
This game has recently been ported to the Windows platform, by the way.
And by all accounts Disney has done a splendid job with what is essentially a new spin on the popular game Tiny Tower. Since it is developed by the same folks, the same level of attention to detail is present.
Here is a selection from the official description:
“Amidst a civil war in a galaxy far, far away, the Emperor is building a Death Star level by level, and he needs your help. Intergalactic war is expensive, and space stations are, too. Do you have any idea how much it costs to build one the size of a moon?
Live life on the dark side, and join Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader on a mission to attract Galactic bitizens, run intergalactic businesses, and build an all-new Death Star! With that hard-earned money, fund the Empire’s evil schemes to defeat the Rebels and conquer the galaxy once and for all!”
You are tasked with building the mighty Death Star by adding levels to the space station that serve different purposes like recreation, residential and so on. You will be hiring workers, and building secret Imperial levels while capturing rebel spies and meeting character from the films.
This highly rated and engaging simulation game is fit for all ages, and is available for free on all Windows 8 enabled devices, including ARM based tablets and hybrids.
