The anticipated Viber app has just hit the Windows Store allowing users of Microsoft’s latest operating platform the ability to chat with their contacts straight from within the Modern UI.
Viber offers free calls with crystal clear HD voice quality, and a bunch of Metro features like the search charm that can be used to search for contacts and Start Screen pinning. Users can also share content, send stickers and emoticons, just like on other platforms.
The official description describes it vibrantly:

Microsoft has worked closely with the developer to port this app to the platform, ensuring that the official client provides an optimized experience. And the result is a clean and well-designed application that is free of bugs and other such issues.
The interface reminds a bit of Skype — just in a different color scheme — but that is more than okay.
However, it all comes down to the functionality of this free app, and it offers plenty in this regard, from notifications and alerts to deep OS integration. It also supports ARM based platforms.
