rumors are to be believed. The buzz among the bees is that Windows Phone 8.1 is launching today, and while Microsoft have made it clear that the final build of the mobile operating system would start rolling out to all users during June, we are fast approaching the end of the month. Meaning, it is only a matter of time now. If Windows Phone 8.1 does indeed arrive later today, unlocked devices will probably be the first to receive update notifications. The process itself, though, might take several weeks to complete. Such rollouts are usually very lengthy affairs, varying by markets, carriers, manufactures and models. OEMs might also release their own custom firmware, like the Nokia Cyan update, and these undoubtedly affect roll out and delivery times, depending on the handsets in question. Another interesting facet it whether we will see Cortana, Microsoft’s digital voice assistant, debuting in more markets at launch. The company was floored by the international response, and promised to speed up availability in other regions, beside the United States. In any case, we await official confirmation from Microsoft on whether Windows Phone 8.1 is indeed rolling out today. Even if not, the launch cannot be all that far away.]]>

I have it already. Looking forward to the cyan update.
Any word on if it launched today? Seems like there’s been a lack of buzz if it did. Because of that, I’m guessing it ended up not coming out today.
Just waiting on Cyan
