  • Kareem … that makes no sense! Lumia 900s – and 800s – will continue working just fine. They will continue to be supported (WP 7.8), just the same as my old iPhone 3s is still working fine even though it hasn’t been upgraded to a later ios.
Onoura, the Lumia 900 may well make a lot of sense to a lot of people who want a good phone and are not to worried about it having the latest greatest OS. Perhaps we need to stop judging others’ needs on the basis of our own interests. Just a couple of months ago I bought a Lumia 800 knowing full well it wasn’t going to be upgradable to Windows 8. I had my reasons for so doing, and I suspect there will be many others just like me.
Not everyone hangs breathlessly on the latest release of everything … !

    • Hey Willem. Thanks for the feedback and your point is taken. It’s a good reminder that not everyone is a tech head like I am.
      🙂

  • Willem,
    correct again, my sentiments exactly.
    I am going
to get the upg to the complete win8 phone and do the usual 7.8 upg when it’s
upgrades comes for testing purposes, but, I think both will be great as the UI to
7.8 will be a good change and look like win8 in everyway. Interesting times…..
