Sweetening the deal. Disney+ normally costs $6.99 a month, and normally there is no free trial available for the service. Enter Microsoft with its new offer for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers.
The company has today announced this perk that is available for folks that are subscribed to its video game service. And it lets them get 30 days of Disney+ for free.
It is only available for those that are completely new to Disney+, rather than a one-month credit that you can apply to your account. But it’s still a neat little offer that builds on top of all that good stuff that you get with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate in the first place.
Including games beamed straight from the cloud on compatible devices.
As for Disney+, it provides access to content from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic. New shows like The Mandalorian are available for watch alongside a ton of classic Disney movies, including the original Star Wars films that are remastered in 4K UHD.
Microsoft does mention that the Disney+ app is available for Xbox One and will be available for the upcoming Xbox Series X and S consoles when those launch tomorrow.
Windows 10 users, however, are left out here when it comes to an official app.
Do note that your credit card will be charged this amount of $6.99 if you forget to cancel your free trial, as that will then be considered an opt-in.
